Description
An over-the-counter ointment formulated with 5% dexpanthenol to support the recovery of damaged and irritated skin.
It is used as an adjunctive treatment for minor wounds, burns, cuts, cracked nipples during nursing, pressure sores, acute and chronic dermatitis, eczema, skin ulcers, diaper rash, and sunburn.
The off-white ointment contains shea butter for smooth application and is formulated without added steroids, preservatives, antibiotics, fragrance, or artificial colorants. It is suitable for use by infants, children, and adults.
How to use
Clean the affected area, then apply an appropriate amount once or several times daily as needed.
For cracked nipples during nursing, apply immediately after each feeding and thoroughly wipe off the ointment before the next feeding.
Avoid contact with the eyes. Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients or have an infectious or weeping skin condition.
Discontinue use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if allergic reactions, itching, redness, eczema, rash, hives, skin irritation, or blisters occur.
